The 4'x4' running plank sections create a sturdy and smooth dancing surface that gives the appearance of a seamless hardwood floor. Quality construction makes these dance floors perfect for indoor or outdoor use. When renting a dance floor to be installed on grass we include a turf friendly subflooring to go under the dance floor that ensures there is no long term damage to your lawn.
What size dance floor do you need for your event?
Dance floor sizing varies depending on the type of event and the type of dancing being done. We have found that the formula displayed below works very well for estimating the best dance floor size for most weddings and special events based on the total number of guests attending the event. Between 3-4 sq ft per couple is generally correct but factors like average age of the attendees, type of event, type of music being played will effect the recommended size. If you are unsure what dance floor size is best for your event please call our office and one our sales representatives can give a recomendation.
(Number of Guests/2) * (3.5 sq ft) = Surface area required
Up to 80 Guests = 12x12
80 - 110 Guests = 12x16
110 - 145 Guests = 16x16
145 - 180 Guests = 16x20
180 - 225 Guests = 20x20
225 - 275 Guests = 20x24
