It’s time to begin planning that big event, and the excitement is brewing. What’s on the schedule? Whether it’s an outdoor wedding, a grand reception, or an informal birthday party for your grade-schooler and all his classmates, you’re going to need tables. When renting tables one important piece to note is how many people should you have at a table:

You can have as many people at a table as the seats will comfortably accommodate. Much depends on the size of the table you get:

  • 60-Inch Table: A 60-inch round table comfortably seats eight guests.
  • 6-Foot Table: Our 6-foot table seats three guests on each side and a single guest at each end, for a total of eight guests.
  • 8-Foot Table: An 8-foot table is capable of seating four guests along each side and one guest at each end, for a total of 10 guests.

Table Styles We Offer

You may assume a table is just a table. However, it’s important to choose the right table for the job. Different tables serve different purposes, and at Affordable Party Tent Rentals, we’re happy to help you pick the best table rentals for your event.

Round

Hands-down, round tables are our most popular option. Round tables look beautiful, and they encourage guests to converse and mingle with one another. This makes them ideal choices for wedding receptions, wedding rehearsals, retirement parties, and fundraisers.

Banquet

Banquet tables are rectangular in shape and seat multiple guests along two sides. Unlike round tables, you can place two or more banquet tables end-to-end for a long, single line of seating. Or, you can place them along a wall if space is limited. Banquet Tables are more efficient on space and frequently allow for a smaller tent than if you using round tables.

Cocktail

Cocktail tables provide limited, intimate seating, usually for two people, but occasionally for three or four. These tables are taller than standard table height and are often used without chairs to allow guests to stand and converse comfortably with a drink in hand.

Beverage

Beverage tables are designed with a lip and a drain. This allows you to fill them with ice for chilling cans and bottles. They keep drinks cold and tasty and give guests self-serve access during the festivities. Afterward, they’re easily drained and dried.

Fold-Out Bar

Our professional-height fold-out bar includes shelves in the back for bottle storage. This allows your bartender to dole out any type of mixed drink with ease.

Seating Guidelines for Tables

Comfort is a top priority when it comes to seating your guests. Leave room between tables for guests to navigate safely with food and drinks, and don’t try to fit too many people at too small of a table. These guidelines will help:

What Should Go Under a Tent?

Will your event require a dance floor? If so, this goes under the tent, usually in the middle and surrounded by round or cocktail tables. For events that don’t require a dance floor, plan to make room for miscellaneous items, such as a cake table, gift table, wet or dry bar, and room for the band to set up and play.

Pricing is based on a full, single day rental. If you require a longer rental, please call us for more information.

Final payment is due on delivery unless prior arrangements have been .

We accept cash, check, or credit card (Visa and Mastercard). You may also prepay at anytime!

Delivery fees cover both delivery and pick-up!

We would love it if you could wipe down tables and stack the chairs and leave them under the tent.  Please place rented table linens in the bag provided and place under the tent.  Please do not attempt to take down the tent structure.

The customer is responsible for all items from time of delivery to time of pick-up. The customer will be charged replacement or repair costs for lost, stolen, or damaged equipment due to misuse or negligence.

We deliver to most towns within the greater Chicagoland area. In order to find out if we deliver to your specific town, please give us a call at 630-587-2955.

The delivery fee is based off of your distance from our location and covers both delivery and pick-up. Call us at, 630-587-2955, to determine your delivery fee.

 For weekend events, delivery and set-up is done on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday prior to the event. Delivery dates and times are scheduled the Monday prior to your event.

We realize that your time is valuable. Occasionally, our delivery personnel will be delayed by traffic or weather conditions. If this happens, our delivery personnel will keep you updated on the estimated time of arrival.

We will try to accommodate your request for any special delivery or pick-up times whenever possible.  Extra charges typically apply when a “Same Day Delivery and Pick Up” of rental items is needed.

We recommend that you or a representative be present at the time of delivery to ensure that your items get delivered to the correct location. If you cannot be home, we will deliver the items to a pre-designated location.

All tents will be properly set-up and secured by our trained personnel. Lighting, sidewalls, and dance floors will be installed per the customers request. Tables and chairs will be stacked underneath the tent or in a designated location at no extra cost.

You should plan on reserving the necessary equipment as early as possible before your event date. Without a reservation, we cannot guarantee that the items you want will be in stock. If you are unsure of the exact number of guests, we can always modify the reservation to suit your needs at no additional charge.

Please call our office at, 630-587-2955, to make a reservation. A 40% non-refundable deposit is required for most reservations and can be paid by cash, check, or credit card.

For most events or parties, a general quote can be given over the phone or through submitting a form. For larger events, we may need to send a representative to meet in person to go over event needs and view the event space.
